"The committees of Session shall have representation from the Deacons and from the congregation-at-large. The duties of each committee are subject to review and revision by Session time in order to meet the needs of the church." A. Be responsible for the handling of financial affairs of the church. B. Arrange for the quarterly and annual audits of all financial books of the church as required under the by-laws. C. Responsible for receiving and counting all church offerings (all money to be counted at the church). D. Approve the methods and accounting systems to be used in the recording of receipts and disbursements of all funds. E. Be responsible for the development and approval of the format of the monthly financial report and annual budget. F. Be responsible for holding all deeds, policies, leases and other papers and documents relating to the property of the church, including safety deposit box and its contents. G. Develop and maintain a suitable insurance program which will provide adequate protection for the church. H. Enter into negotiations for loans, leases, mortgages, etc. as directed by the corporation. I. Be responsible for the financial secretary, treasurer, and assistant treasurer or any other financial officers as authorized. J. Review and recommend salaries of all paid personnel. K. Make recommendations to the Session or carry out any and all other matters relating to the financial affairs.
