Evangelism & Outreach Committee
"The committees of Session shall have representation from the Deacons and from the congregation-at-large.  The duties of each committee are subject to review and revision by Session time in order to meet the needs of the church."

Evangelism is joyfully sharing the good news of the sovereign love of God and calling people to repentance, to personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to active membership in the church, and to obedient service in the world.

A.    To pray regularly for the Church around the world, to pray for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and for our congregation, that we might all be used as instruments for God's purpose.

B.    Be responsible for seeking to bring those within the community to make a commitment for Christ and helping them to grow in faith and to encourage all members of the congregation to live up to membership vows.

C.    Be responsible for the church rolls.

D.    To assess evangelistic opportunities and the needs of the unchurched within reach of our congregation and to pursue those opportunities to meet those needs.

E.    Actively contact visitors to our church who reside within the community.

F.    Work with the minister in conducting classes for new members.

G.    Provide follow-up program for new members.

H.    Be responsible for the overall preparations for the yearly Women's Retreat.

We begin our Morning Services with Sunday School (9:00 AM - Summer). We offer both Adult and Youth Classes. During the Summer, there is a Bible Study instead.

11:00 a.m.

Following Sunday School is our morning service. This traditional worship service seeks to bring glory to God through the singing of hymns, choral music, liturgical readings, and bible-based sermons.  This Service is at 11:00 (10:00 AM - Summer).


6:00 p.m.

Sunday evening is our contemporary Praise! service. This upbeat service is a great way to become acquainted with LPC and designed to appeal to those who enjoy a Christ-centered worship service featuring live contemporary Christian music, drama, video, lighting, and testimonies.  Casual and comfortable: t-shirts and jeans (or shorts) are standard attire!
