The following job description outlines the conditions which apply to the position of Music Coordinator of Lebanon Presbyterian Church: The Music Coordinator shall: 1. Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior. 2. Participate in all the music programs in the life of the church including traditional music and bell choirs; and also be supportive of the contemporary music. 3. Have the ability to play the piano, organ, and / or other musical instruments proficiently. 4. Have the ability to appreciate all types of Christian music including contemporary and traditional music. 5. Work with members of the congregation in the selection of music. 6. Lead the adult and youth bell choirs. 7. Be supportive of the contemporary worship service, offering assistance when needed. 8. Be able to recruit new choir members. 9. Be available to assist with music for Vacation Bible School and Summer’s Best Two Weeks (day camp). 10. Coordinate special musical activities during Christmas and Easter Week. The organist is expected to rehearse and participate with the various choirs for these special events. 11. Participate in Sunday morning worship, as well as leading the choir rehearsals on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings. Conditions of Employment:
The Session of Lebanon Presbyterian Church agrees to pay an annual salary of $12,500 paid by Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Frequency of pay is semi‑monthly, the 15th and 30th of each month. Working hours will be 20 hours per week.
Periodic performance evaluations will be provided by the Pastor, who is the Head of Staff. The Pastor is the supervisor of all members of the church staff.
Vacation will be one week after six months employment, and two weeks after one year of employment.
